yeah the animation is different because it was made during covid so sometimes it looks a little rough but they switched the style to have it look more similar to the manga

since you mostly been watching shounen anime i get it that u don't know this, but in japan everyone calls each other by their last names unless their close friends/family, so tendou calling him "wakatoshi" is because their close friends. This is also true with tanaka and nishinoya calling each other by their first names

hope u like s4 cause its my favorite one with one of the best karasuno match in the second half, there's that one episode with cursed animation but the last 5 episodes of the season are just beyond hype that got me on the edge of my seat

His name is Wakatoshi Ushijima, Ushiwaka is a nickname given to him by mixing the beginning of USHIjima and WAKAtoshi together. Plus Ushiwaka is an actual name of a legendary Japanese warrior who could jump between mountaintops.

Tsuki is now 4 mm shorter than me! When they use cm for height it makes them seem so much taller than they actually are. I’m only 6’3” thinking all these middles are significantly taller but they are mostly all around my height.

I don’t hate season 4’s animation as a whole. I think getting used to the new art style took a bit for me, but while I lament the loss of the high level of attention to detail, I completely understand why they had to change. The story telling is still amazing, so the occasional slight dip in quality is inconsequential to me.

The youth teams that represent your country like a youth Olympics is a real thing. I did the US version for years. You start out just going to a camp for a week where we got to stay at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs and practice all day. Then when you get older you can try out for the team to represent your country in a tournament against other countries youth teams. I played on the US women’s youth team and it was awesome
