Honestly I don't think Bakugo's character development is that great. His reasons for being so rude to Deku are poorly explained and glossed over with weak explanations in later seasons. I think the only good thing from his development comes from the people he meets at school rather than actually changing his perspective towards Deku. Regardless, I don't hate him, I just see him as an annoying brat in that same way I see Sasuke tbh. I think you'll hate him less as the story progresses, but idk if you'll start to fully like him

Bakugo doesn’t like deku because he was given an ego ever since he was little. He thought he was the best and deku needing to save him made him feel inferior for the first time. Deku saving him from the sludge villain upset him even more. Then seeing deku have a quirk made him think all these years deku had been lying to him to make him feel better about himself. Looking down on him for years and pitying him by not using it all this time. Someone he thought was weak was suddenly on his level and his ego can’t accept that.
