Of course he is gonna forget it don’t be a stupid. If there is give or take around 100 episodes of Naruto, 500 of shippuden, 200 boruto until this fight he’ll have to watch 800 episodes. Nick watches around 5 episodes a week of each series which means he watches around 260 episodes a year if he takes no breaks and sticks so schedule. That means that it will take him at least over 3 years to get to that moment. And when you factor in that he also watches shows like One Piece and Bleach that are longer or as long as Naruto it adds on even more time. He’ll also finish and start countless more shows under these years which will make it take even longer. So I’ll say it again don’t be stupid of course he will forget it.

Most Boruto fans aren’t Naruto fans to start with. Had they loved the Naruto series and its storyline they should know how terrible and trash Boruto’s story is, at least all the way up until the timeskips and what is happening right now. The fact that they thought this episode was great just means their standard is low af.

This hatred comes from a stupid story and really bad character writing. I really tried to give it a chance and I was very happy when they announced a Naruto prequel manga and it was absolutely disappointing. They destroyed the entire Narutoverse and the story doesn't make sense, even the power scaling doesn't make sense. The enemies are supposed to be so strong, but their moves look like they can be easily countered by Jonin level ninja in og Naruto. There's a lot more I could write, but that would take a lot of time

Lol this is interesting. This is one of the goated episodes so whenever you get to Boruto I can't wait till you actually get to this point so you understand it. Builds up the hype.

Boruto is actually pretty good in the manga, it's the anime that did shit all over the place. If you do another request stream I'd recommend episode 217 and also Boruto Openings and endings.

I love Naruto and Naruto Shippuden. They are subjectively my top 3 anime of all time. I still really enjoy Boruto too, though. I honestly believe most of the assumptions in this particular reply section are simply wrong. It's fine to like or dislike the show but Boruto fans can be Naruto fans just as much as Boruto haters can. As to the whole action-argument. I do love the well animated fights. I did so in Naruto too. Gaara vs. Lee. Naruto vs. Sasuke. Kakashi vs. (you know who, I don't know how far into Shippuden Nick is so I don't want to accidentally spoil shit), the list goes on. Still my favorite moments in Naruto have always been the mellow ones, which is why my favorite Boruto episode is 218. The action-heavy episodes are simply the best to react to independently since you don't need much context to understand it.

Characters abilities r stupidly op(eida), everyone has absorbing jutsu techniques, naruto and Sasuke treatment, naruto side characters treatment, literally anyone who isn't kawaki or boruto on the hero side is irrelevant.

@Noctislolig Villains have 0 depth and feel like cartoon bad guy of the week type villains the story is much shorter so the side characters aren't doing shit while they were doing plenty in naruto part 1 + they had amazing backstories Kawaki is a garbage character and rival for boruto, his motivations are weird and he ruined boruto's entire family's lives for nothing Do I need to keep going?

I love Naruto and I’m not a fan of the Boruto anime. The manga I really enjoy. I watched all of the anime which definitely made it worse for me. If you watch just the canon stuff it’s probably a good experience. I’m glad you watched the beginning of ep.1 because that’s the only reason I stuck with it in the first place. Slowly getting to that point in the manga now.

God I wish they had just released Boruto seasonally with this level of animation. It would actually almost be on par with Naruto
