I actually liked that speech more in English. Same exact words were used, but for some reason the English VA had more impact for me.

Ep 8 is where Code Geass grabbed me by the balls. Immensely good episode. I think that the dub version of episode 8 has more gravity to the last 4 minutes. Jonny Yong Bosch is a legendary voice actor and his performance as Lulouche/Zero is another notch on his belt of amazing performances.

Thing is he lost because all his pawns started disobeying or losing morale. He was countering her moves but his people started to freak, not saying he would have won she's insanely epic too but this was a soldier situation not listening to the commander
