Yes. They do put bars on the clocks in gyms to prevent the glass from breaking if they get hit, this show gets so many little details accurate. I love it

Nick, the number in the center of the teams score board is the set they are playing, in this case is the first game, when a team reaches 25pts they win the set, then it's another set, that's gonna be the 2 showing in the score board, if the contrary team wins that set (capping 25pts) then it's a 3 set to un-tie , the one who wins that set will be the winner of the game.

Idk if anyone else has already told you, but no need to worry about after credit scenes. Only one episode has one and its ep 24 of s1 i think. im sure comments will be going wild reminding you when you get closer so dont worry about it for awhile

As a Brazilian, the episode 4 is my favorite, because it remembers me of my childhood. Bernardo, or "Bernardinho"(little Bernardo) as we used to call him, was the greatest coach that used to lead our volleyball team to victory, and I used to watch all of the games of the Brazilian team, they were such amazing games... This episode brings me a lot of nostalgia and happiness ❤️

You can get a volleyball, Karasuno jersey or something else that will be shown in Episode 14. 😏🤭 The clock has a metal cage to prevent loose flying balls from sport activities hitting and breaking the clock. Episode 4 the quote is a real quote by Brazil volleyballcoach Bernado Rezende. The middle number is for the round the match is on, which is also called sets(1st set, 2nd set, 3rd set,..). Characters we know right now. 1st years(Freshman): Hinata Shoyo, Kageyama, Tsukishima aka Tsukki, Yamaguchi 2nd years: Tanaka Ryu, and 3 characters in the background we have not been introduced yet 3rd years: Daichi, Suga, Kiyoko(club manager)

Kiyoko is the female manager and shes important for morale and its seen as a flex to have a hot female manager and gives them a sense of superiority although she does have important club duties as well

I'm so glad you're reacting to this. Haikyuu is my favorite anime, hands down. Doesn't matter the genre, the popularity of other shows, nothing.. nothing compares to the anxiety and excitement of every game and seeing the story unfold. There are times when I don't know what team I'm rooting for, be it Karasuno or their rivals because there are so many fucking AMAZING characters in this show. You'll constantly be introduced to more and more amazing characters and their dynamics and the lessons they'll teach you along the way. This is my comfort anime, I'll always come back to it. Also, the dub is hilarious if you like dubbed anime as well.

This anime is great because you're going to smile every episode. Like big, shit eating grin smile. It just makes everyone so happy. Also, pretty sure you can buy all the team jerseys, with specific numbers for all the characters.
