Very different from what I’m used to.. but also reminds me of Attack on Titan and Death Note a bit, with mechs. What do y’all think of Code Geass? Im intrigued.

2007 we got both Code Geass on Adult Swim and Gurren Lagann on Syfy channel. us fans of mecca were eating good that year

This show was ahead of its time when it came out and is still one of the greatest ones out there. It's fast paced and an emotional rollercoaster. I hope you enjoy it!

Nick the reason this feels so different to you is because almost every anime u have watched is shonen (not a bad thing). thats why it reminds you of AOT as well. more complex settings and plot

I understand why Nick might not want to watch dubbed versions of anime, given the controversial nature of it in the wider anime community, but for those of us who are neurodivergent or have hearing/audio processing issues, there should be no shame in watching dubbed anime. Most are really good, especially modern day ones do a better job of not altering the original script except to make the adr fit. It annoys me that people still act as though dubbed is this horrible sacrilegious thing, even though a lot of American Voice Actors are incredibly talented.

The dub is really good on this one. Would recommend at least giving it a try for an episode or so, but will be around for it either way, so I hope you enjoy it

Finally, prepare for PEAK. Code Geass has one of the best endings in all of fiction and is what Isayama wished to accomplish for AOT
