I think the most off putting thing about around minute 35 is that we never hear anything about the mass death that occurred in the town. Nothing is ever referenced it's just completely glossed over lol. I get it, they're just background characters yada yada, but like on the rewatch the fact that it's never acknowledged is just wow.

I have to say it is so genuinely annoying and obnoxious that he doesn't read the subtitles. Specifically it's obviously always bad in every reaction he does, but it is so blatantly annoying at this point I felt compelled to say something. At 1hr and 7 minutes he pauses and makes a stupid comment about "how is this a high school student?" ON THAT FRAME are the literal words, "C'mon RENJI". He the proceeds to completely ignore those words, and be like "WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE? IS THAT RENJI?!?!" Oh I don't know if you were literally capable of reading at a first grade level you would have seen that they say his name literally on the frame you paused. This trope of his inability to read has continued to get worse and worse. If you literally can't read because of some sort of disability, then watch dub so you don't have to read. It's so irritating and frustrating how many times chat has to spam MISSED because of something so basic you don't understand simply because you don't bother to take 2 seconds to read. Don't even get me started on his ability to pronounce words, or his "OMG NUMBERS ARE MENTIONED I FAILED OUT OF SCHOOL IT WOULD TAKE ME 10 YEARS TO UNDERSTAND 10*10" bullshit tangents any time there is something relatively complex. I don't understand how acting like an idiot is appealing in any capacity, yet here he is raking in the dough for acting like one. Not even counting all the times he "guesses" a major plot point of a show he's "never seen" while simultaneously has no idea what the fuck is going on at any point. So glad I got this off my chest, and I'm also glad to finally get off this patreon.
