I watched all of one piece in the span of 5 months with a big break somewhere in the middle, so it is possible to do lol. Then again I didn't have to record my reaction and be as energetic as nick does, so I understand completely if he can't keep up that pace.

As a shonen MHA is nothing when compared with HxH or OnePiece. I never payed attention to the fans and i liked it at first but it didn't take long until i found nearly every supporting / side character annoying as hell with way too many tropes and 2-Dimensional personalities where their only goal is going "plus ultra" or whatever. So many cringe child-humor moments in the anime too which made it hard to outweigh the really good moments. So that is how i would summarize it, a few very good moments with a lot of crap in between. I am convinced the people who hold this as their favorite are either 12 or have never seen any actual good shonen.

also most of the villains have dogshit uncompelling stories for why they want to go around killing innocent people and the heroes usually have shit backstories too. especially in the new season.

I honestly enjoyed MHA more than black clover but both are bottom top 10 for me. I never paid attention to character tropes watching them myself, but watching nick's reactions to black clover mentioning the quirks/tropes every single episode made me realize black clover is probably the worst show when it comes to that.

As someone who doesn't like it that much, it is absolutely way to hated. I think there are some really boring arcs, but the show has some high highs. I thought the last two seasons were some of their best work.
