Video got limited ads on youtube so i removed it LOL. So this will be a patreon exclusive.

I guessed over 80% of the awards correct.. 80 PERCENT. Just thought this was a fun video to do, showing all these award shows are popularity contests that don't really mean anything LOL.

Ngl Nick I wouldn’t take these awards too seriously or at heart as the objectively correct answers, they don’t even include the fall anime until next year, which is where for them the new lineup starts and it’s all based on popularity, rather than actual quality.

Best Animation, Best Action and Best Fantasy that won is the most normy take on what people think was the best this year. My eyes have been rolled in the back of my head for the last 10 minutes im afraid they might get stuck. First off Best Animation. Demon Slayer only won because of a 3 minute scene at the end of the season. There are at least 3 other anime that have been more consistent with animation that were on the list to choose from. Second is Best Action. You could have picked anything else besides Spy Family and DS it would have been a good take on best action. I don't even remember 3 different action scenes from Demon Slayer i had to force myself to watch the first half of Entertainment District Arc is was so boring. And lastly the Best Fantasy. This has to be the greatest disappointment in Anime Awards ive ever had. I wouldn't even add Demon Slayer to the list of Fantasy if i had a choice. The only reason Demon Slayer won was because it has the most members and was on the list. Literally any of the other 5 should have won best Fantasy.

Yo wassup Nick, I know u won't even really consider this but I recommend watching Madoka Magica, dosen't matter if on your on time, patreon or yt. Imo this anime is very close to being a masterpiece, everything in this is done amazingly since it's a work of Shaft studio; style and animation as always amazing, u can often just pause the anime, take the screenshot and put it as a wallpaper (yes I've done that), OST is godly, from the few houdreds of anime I have seen, music in this anime is one of the best, amazing and deep characters and ofc great story. Overall series has 12 episodes + movie. Give it 3 episodes, if you don't get into it after this, then it's not for you.

Yeeeeaaahhh.... It was quite the topic of discussion amongst anime fans the first year Crunchyroll did their awards. They really might as well just have one competition: One big popularity contest for all the shows that came out the previous year. Because that's all it ends up being.

Don't know how but I was able to watch your Overlord OP and ED reactions by just watching til the end. OxT did OP 1, 2, and 4 & ED 3 while Myth and Roid did ED 1 and 2, & OP 3 and the lead singer of M&R did ED 4 Other Myth & Roid songs can be found in Made in Abyss, Re: Zero and Saga of Tanya the Evil Other OxT anime ops can be found in "Eminence of Shadow" (the others ain't as good) the main vocalist for OxT also did the OPs for "The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotton" and "Monthly Girl's Nozaki-kun"

There were so many insanely fantastic anime that came out last year that per usual don't get enough mainstream attention compared to these other anime and they didn't even get into the nominations from what I can see

Made in abyss was probably one of if not my favorite anime of last year. I have seen hundreds of anime. I can say made in abyss season 2 is one of the most insane and well written seasons in anime. The soundtracks from kevin penkin were actually god tier. It still lost against the popular series.

Mushoku tensei only one nomination and it didnt even win there while demon slayer is an fantasy but it is just not well made as mushoku.... Its a popularity awards not a real awrads :/

I have not seen s2, but from what I remember when I watched s1 like 4 years ago, it was a really good anime, but ofc it will not win, mostly because people look at it and this what is this childlish anime (but in reality it's a lot more mature than Demon Slayer xD)
