i really hated that they swam. i mean it makes sense since their size has like no mass, but still. would have been more epic if they were just walking along the bottom of the ocean.

I'm with you.. BUT the more i thought about it, the weirder it got, like how would that even look like, 60m doods walking on the bottom of the ocean (3500m deep on average), also they wouldn't have been able to make use of the steam / heating. As for the swimming, great point about the mass, to which i would add that, as the founding titan, Eren could've simply ordered them to swim OR have Ymir "enhance" their bodies so they could swim, tho i wouldn't say anything out there suggests they can't it just looks weird the same way hats looked weird on the scouts.
