The heavenly pact that Maki and Mechamaru have is insane..and super important. Pact that is made when your born [not by choice].. Either have no cursed energy/techinque and get basically super strength/senses [like maki] or basically have a brittle body and get enroumous amount of curse energy [ like mechamaru].

also, the guy wasnt in the robot, he said he was controlling it remotely. he has a heavenly pact (you are born with it, its not a choice) so while he had shit ass physical conditions, his spiritual energy was strong enough to let him control the robot over a large distance.
