Despite how the anime portrayed him, Barragon is extremely strong. Putting aside how the anime made him stand in one spot for most of the fight, the powers of aging wouldn't be beaten easily by ordinary charcters in this verse. Then u also have the fact that he has a time slowing barrier around him+ he outsped soi fon who is considered the fastest captain in the gotei 13. So it's reasonable why barragon was able to become king of hueco mundo.

I don't know if you are doing this for comedic effect or not but you are downplaying how strong some of these guys are, I guess it's the animes fault for not conveying this properly, and the pacing is actually dogshit, you also are oversimplifying the characters and plot, bleach is very nuanced in it's storytelling, nothing is that simple

Of course Manga readers know this but it doesn't translate very well in the anime especially when they draw it out like this. People get bored them frustrated.

Nick how no one is taking damage you said when soi fong lose her arm, the fat guy lose the hand, the fight needs to be a litle longer because if you kill a enemy with one hit and is finish is boring but this arc in the fake karakura the fight are to much longer and that make them a litle boring

I agree with nick on alot of things, but bro...you are dumb to think Barragan is a joke. He had the most OP power in the whole show, lost only to his own power. Legit stronger than 95 percent of the characters in Bleach. The fact you dont see that, is quite sad.

You don't need to call him dumb because Bleach failed to display how strong his powers actually are. If it wasn't for Aizen's illusion he would have been difficult to beat. Either way, they made it very difficult to love those characters be extending the fights for so long.
