Honestly, I don't find Karin as annoying without Sasuke around. My only problem with her was how obsessed she was with that idiot...

I love it when I know Karin is gonna be there because of His unjustified anger which says a lot about his character since he has hated on mainly the female characters. Alittle disappointed tbh cause I've been a subscriber before he react to AOT so it's saddening to see

Most of Naruto's female cast just sucks, it's not that deep. Karin has no character other than being head over heels obsessed for Sasuke and the way she speaks is simply annoying (same goes for many characters sometimes like Naruto). Notice how he doesn't dislike the female characters who actually have character depth or when they aren't one dimensional love interests? Like Sakura in early Shippuden, Tsunade and Konan? He doesn't dislike the female characters simply because they're women, he dislikes them because they're poorly written but happen to be women because Kishimoto can't write women for shit.

i think nicks reactions here are reasonable. Karin and Sakura are incredibly annoying characters. Naruto unfortunately doesn't do its female characters much justice. Ino, tenten, Sakura and Karin would all benefit from having either more screen time. or more interests. its annoying that Sakura's entire character arc revolves around fawning over a guy who wants her dead, rather then bettering herself and making a stand. tenten has an interesting skill set being a ninja tool specialist but the only time we ever get to see it pay off is in fillers. and Ino's only purpose in life seems to be to prop up as Sakura's rival. and Karin, who has a really interesting history is completely neglected and treated as a Sakura replacement during sasukes journeys. in which i think her absence would've more likely improved those stories. i think the only badass female kunoichi in the show are tsunade, Hinata and Temari. who can all hold their own and also more consistently represent their goals. Hinata is meek. but even she is able to help Naruto when Sakura can only beg and cry for him to save her and then emotionally black mail him the next month. Temari doesn't get enough screen time. but every time she's been in a fight she's pulled her weight and hasn't moaned or complained or whined about the situation she's in. she's done something about it. and Tsunade is the fucking hokage. when theirs so much fucking wasted potential in this show. i think we can forgive nick for griping on the annoying girls. even if its not to hate them. but to just be disappointed.
