Quick note about when to watch the show relative to your progress in the manga: the show switches the next two major arcs around. So, for the best viewing experience, keep reading until you’re about 2/3 through volume 5, then watch up ‘till episode 8 of the anime. I’ll keep updating when necessary

I think someone should tell him that the order of events in volumes 2 3 are switched with volume 4 in the anime, since he's watching the anime alongside the manga he'll end up spoiling himself on events that haven't happened yet
