VAT (Patreon)

Hello my dudes! Just want to say that patreon starts charging sales tax since 1st July. Speaking simple patreon was required to charge it by law cause govs logically decided that tiers is like goods and VAT must be charged. BUT in some countries voluntary support is not considered to be taxed  and patreon gave ability to destribute percentage of every tier how i want. It means that tax will be charged  for instance not from 10$ but 30% of this value which is 3$. (30% cause i deceided for this tier that 70% of patrons buy it to support me and only 30% considered it as a goods.) Tax itself vary depending of your country and usually it's about 5-20% so in a saddest variant you will pay additionaly 20% of 30% of 10$ which is 60 cents, so for you third gear tier will cost 10.6$ for lower tiers you won't notice it at all, a few cents no more. If your country or state doesn't care about voluntary support, then it will cost you percents of entire 10$ which is additionally 2$ in saddest variant.  Patreon will spam you with more detailed articles soon so you can dig into this deeper. I added screen of how i destributed percents of my tiers so you can gogle your tax and calculate it, red part is under VAT and green is free of charge for: the US, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Norway, and Switzerland. This is not a final list of countries, cause patreon says " We are working hard to expand that list, but we have to obtain permission from taxing authorities in more countries".
