We've been thinking about this map "Wyrm Under Ice" for a long time - winter, frost, I've deserted the battlefield and a dead, giant monster under the ice. What is this beast? Which side was it on? How did it die? Are you sure she's dead? What powers did he have and what knocked her down? From this simple picture you can create many cool adventures. Even the greatest beast can fall. This story is about one of them.

Years ago, in the small village covered in the ice and snow, there was a lonely man - he chose the life of a hermit, but in the last years of his life, he decided to look for someone to spend the rest of his days with.

And the gods have heard his voice - a beautiful woman found him during the blizzard when he nearly died. She was way younger than him, so she became his caretaker.

The bond was getting stronger and stronger, but the old man wasn’t getting any younger and he was getting weaker every day.

He promised the girl that he would find her in the afterlife to repay her for her good heart, but little did he know, the gods had other plans for these two.

One day, when both of them were asleep the house caught fire, visible from a great distance. People from the village thought that the man killed himself and destroyed all his belongings, but on the next day, when they went to his house, there was no sign of the body, but two holes in the shapes of the winged lizards.

The legends say that the man and the girl were turned into dragons by the dying wish of his. She hated her new form of the white wyrm, given by the gods, and she didn’t want to spend eternity in the monster’s body, even with the man she loved, so she flew to the north, when no one has seen her to this day, and the man, turned into black draconid is still looking for her, screaming into the frozen void.

It sounds like a fairytale, but who knows, maybe forbidden lovers are somewhere there? Frozen in time and space - always together.
