Arabian Castle (Patreon)

Hi Patrons! We have a new map this week: as you have decided in this vote, one of the maps we have created this month is the Arab Castle. It is a beautiful building surrounded by a wall and well guarded. The interiors are wonderfully decorated and there are frescos on the walls. Numerous expensive sculptures and many precious gemstones enriches the rooms for the ruler of this land. When dusk falls, lamps illuminate the whole. Time for an exotic adventure!

In the middle of the desert, there’s a beautiful castle, with the golden roofs, shining from the miles away in the sunlight. Tempting with wealth and luxuries it lures travelers from around the world. 

But when you cross the gates the older man comes to you - greeting you with a deep bow and words in some weird language, he comes back to common.

- Let the star of the desert brighten your way, my name is Aamhal, the first servant of the house. My lord would greet you by himself, but now he’s… indisposed. Come in, in my culture we cannot let the guest leave without food and water for the journey.

And with those words he bows again and walks fast into the palace. It is a beautiful building surrounded by a wall and well guarded. The interiors are wonderfully decorated and there are frescos on the walls. Numerous expensive sculptures and many precious gemstones enriches the rooms for the ruler of this land, but he’s nowhere to be seen.

You walk into the huge dining room, with the long wooden table covered in intricate patterns and air filled with the mixture of exotic fruits and perfumes.

Women of all races serve you various meals in the golden bowls and pour strong, sweet wine into your glasses.

The dinner becomes a supper, your friends join the dancers, the bard just learned how to play some exotic instrument and your mind, clouded by the alcohol and heavy scents finally succumbs into the abyss.

From now on the story is in your hands! Where’s the lord of this castle? Will the players make it out fine, or they will have to work for their freedom?

Other cultures are very interesting topics and they are great to look for an inspiration for your campaign. Read, watch, prepare and give your players a story to remember! We hope this map will be a great addition to your collection.
