"Entrance to The Mine" [30x30]  has 2 map variants (plus grid, no-grid, JPG, PNG and PDF versions, ready for Roll20, Foundry or your favourite VTT platform).

Snowy wasteland. Once a powerful and now abandoned dwarven stronghold. Some enormous and evil power has invaded her. Will there be a daredevil who finds out what these ruins hide?

By creating this map, we wanted to give players and the game master the opportunity to play the campaign in a little more space than usual.

Snowy wasteland. Once a powerful and now abandoned dwarven stronghold. Some enormous and evil power has invaded it.

Well, that’s what people say.

As far as I know dwarves are not very keen to make deals with evil spirits, but every time there’s one fool who decides otherwise.

The king was a man of the people, very wise, ruling with a strong, but fair hand, and years of his reign were a golden age for this place.

Unfortunately his son wasn’t as smart as his father, so the king was thinking about making his eldest daughter his successor and when the son heard about it… by the gods, he made the most foolish decision of his life - he decided to create an army and fight for the throne.

Obviously everybody laughed him off, but he was determined to achieve his dream.

With a heart full of hatred and bitterness he went to the lords of underdark. They were interested in this fight, gallons of blood were about to be shed, so they’ve decided to help.

Unfortunately for the dwarf, they offered him power, but with a great price to be paid. He accepted it without hesitation and with dark magic and horrible rituals his body and mind were changed.

He has become a chalice full of dark spirits, ready to be unleashed, but with this act he has become a puppet in the hands of the underdark lords. They have helped him to form an army of drows, beholders, minotaurs and other creatures and the war has begun.

To the last moment the son was offering peace if he got the throne, but his sister decided to defend her rights and wish of their father.

This story doesn’t have one end. Some say the dark forces are still down there, because they wiped out the sister’s army, but others say that she was like her father, and after the last visit of her brother all of the dwarves escaped and when the enemy came, she and her mages locked her brother inside for eons.

Nobody is brave, or stupid enough to check what’s the truth.
