April 2020 Update (1 Year on Patreon! =) ) - The Road ahead (Patreon)

Hey everyone,

I hope you are all doing ok and can ease the situation with some good old rpg's (online of course! ) 

Things have been slow, but I'm really picking up the fun in drawing again =)  I've participated in something really cool  again that will hopefully (fingers crossed) be published in the beginning of may!

The next map I'm working on has the theme "desert/darksunish" and I wanted to show you the first sketch and a few refined details:

In other news:

I started my Patreon journey one year ago and wow....it has been a blast! I'm still amazed by the community, the support and the friends I have found over the past year.  I was very sceptical about going online back then! But I dont regret it at all. I couldn't do all of this without your continous support and the help from so many fantastic people.

I hope things will keep growing and I hope we can build a great community here too. I've taken the anniversary as a push to finally update my old posts to the new format I'm using (easier for you to download stuff...hopefully) and to update the site in general. 

The first small change, but in my opinion a nice touch, are the Cartographer, Adventuer and Hero tier portraits, I hope you like them:

Whats next?

Well first of all I want to get back into my regular shedule, I've been off ever since the move and I really need to stick by it to get things done. That's something I have learned over the past three months.

There are so many things I'd like to do in the coming year, some stuff will happen other things might fall of the table to make room for new adventures.

Things I'd like to do this year:

- more collabs ( The Tarrasque Collab was just so much fun), id like to get involved with more item makers, storytellers and all the other creative people out there.

- getting more connected with my patrons (discordserver, communitytalks, ...)

- rework/revise the goals, things have changed since I created the goals and I want to have a look at them and adjust where it's needed.

- Maybe starting to stream my mapmaking ( I have absolutly no clue yet how to do that...so thats something for the long run XD)

- improve my skills, tackle new techniques and taking more time to learn from others.

- maybe other TTRPG related content. Battlemaps are fun and I really love drawing them, but why not dive into other areas of the hobby too? Monsters, Items, city/region/worldmaps, adventures?

So that is what I have in mind for the next year, but like I said before, all of this wouldnt be possible without you, my supporters. I wanted to take this chance and ask what you would like to see? What did you enjoy? Where could I improve? I'd really like to hear your feedback, if you dont want to post in public, private massaging me is always an option =)
