Announcement: Changes in May - Tiers, Discord, Rewards (Patreon)

I been thinking a lot lately about making changes to my Patreon and how I do things.  And although I haven't fully figured out and decided what I want to do, I do want to give people a heads up and know what I DO want to change.


Important changes coming up (all of this is subject to change, still being figured out at the moment)



-I will be making a Patreon Discord sometime in April, it'll be a nice way to interact with some of you and give updates on my art and what I am doing in general.  It's technically ready now but I don't want to link it to Patreon yet until i've figured out the new tiers rewards.



-I will be changing how I do rewards. I haven't fully figured it out yet but I want people to get more value out of being my Patron so going forward, 'most' of my new art will be patreon time exclusive. I will still post art publicly like I have but a lot of it will be for your eyes first. I usually post 3 exclusives average, that will go up to 8-12 a month. 



-I might change the dropbox rewards, I'm not sure yet. I want people to get more value out of the $5 and $10 tiers.  $5 will get access to ALL the new art, $10 will get access to the new art at FULL resolution. I will also post work in progress sketches for people to see what will eventually come.


-To the people at the higher tiers, I will be offering art packs of the future months.  For example, in May, these people might get June and July's art pack. Additionally they will get art pack drops immediately to enjoy.  


-I will still continue to post pictures off the cuff publicly but at a much lesser rate. I will also be advertising my Patreon/Fanbox/SubscribeStar a lot more to help grow it and my discord community. 



-Voting is on hold, I'm still not sure how I want to handle that yet so I will be removing that perk 'for now'. A lot of the voting I do will be off the cuff and simultaneous, most likely in discord where I just ask for people's opinions/thoughts.

 

-Lastly, I know this is a bit niche for my audience but my collaborator Strider and I are starting a Welcome to BSU Patreon if anyone is interested in our OC series of story and art. I will be posting my OC art there.


I appreciate those who continue to stay on board and I hope you enjoy what I have coming next.

Lemme know your thoughts, I been wanting to make changes to my patreon for a long time. I took some ques from other artists and how they set up theirs when deciding this

Honestly these are all good ideas, getting rid of the voting will be different but as long as we still recieve your art and get to talk/interact with you that's golden. This seems like a good direction and I have no issues with this.

Oh awesome! I actually just recently returned to your Patreon and was thinking how cool a Discord channel to hang and share art and stuff would be 👍

The changes to the $5 and $10 tiers sound great. And having a discord server should make it easier to communicate and follow announcements.

This Is the only patreon I follow so having a discord to chat an stay up to date with would be great!

I'm glad to see there's gonna be a discord server. Hope to join in on that's it'll be also good for communication too. And i wanna do my best to advertise things too.
