So last month I did a poll about what you guys wanted to see more of and One Piece and Fairy Tail were among the top voted.  As a result, I posted more FT and OP pics in November.  Which is great because sometimes certain series get neglected in my posting.

So same question:  What is the series you are primarily subscribed to my Patreon to see?

Edit - Poll Results Impression: Bleach wins again! Maybe I should remove Bleach as an option because its assumed to always be the winner?  My Hero Academia and Fairy Tail are about neck and neck so expect more from these two series this month for December!

Unrelated Question: Does anyone know whats the deal with Nintendo fanart? Sometimes I get the urge to draw certain chars from Pokemon but I hear Nintendo often gets Nintendo franchise pics taken down which greatly deters me.  Is it because of specific reasons? style? characters? or its random?

I think it's because of Nintendo's family friendly image that they try to keep, so they take down lots of lewds using DMCA, I think it could be fine so long as you don't stand out as doing 'too much Nintendo', then they'd start targeting you

In general everything is great as long as you continue to draw it so excellent. But since I'm a huge One Piece fan, I just have to go with it.

Nintendo is just super fucking strict with their copyright infringement (like Disney). Technically every time people create fan art, especially if they make money from it, that is infringing on copyright but 99% of companies don’t care because it’s free advertising for their IP. A mutually beneficial relationship for both parties. Nintendo on the other hand is super controlling with their properties and will send Cease and Desists to everyone and anyone. It’s not just fan art either, they don’t let content creators upload videos of their games, and just recently they canceled an entire smash bros tournament because it wasn’t “official”. It’s up to you if you want to risk it, but there’s a decent chance they’ll DMCA you.

Yea I can see a one-off completely going under the radar of nintendo but I dont feel like playing that game... 😧

The thing is with this whole Nintendo DMCA problem is at times, it isn’t Nintendo issuing these claims. Yeah, Nintendo has flag fanart but what’s also going on is that a group of Nintendo “fan” go around claiming to be representative of Nintendo, flagging NSFW fan art. This has happen to many artist to where they’ve lost twitter and Patreon account because of these false claims. I’d love to see you draw some pokegirl but I don’t think it’s worth the risk of losing your accounts. Honestly this is something to really think on if you wanna do it or not.

Thats ridiculous... Ya I think I'm going to avoid that landmine lol

Believe me it is. I remember awhile back, don’t know if you know or heard of JinuSenpai but he got a copyright claim on his meowth avatar. Some artists have had to even remove any sort of Nintendo fan art off their account so they wouldn’t get another one. The whole situation is a mess so it’s best to avoid it.
