What are the files in the re-support folder for? Are they different from the files in the pre-supported folder? And the (customizable) files, are they special?

Just backed. These look fantastic!!

TurnBaseMiniatures

Recently we've noticed some errors on the pre-supported models of the original devgru set where some of the supports are actually going through the model. On the re-supported set, we've added models that had the issues and remade the supports for the best quality of printing

We apologize for the inconvenience but it is for the extra security of our content. As long as the email address of the patron is included in the access request, we can grant it within a few minutes :)

Hi guys ! Glad to be your patreon, nice minis. If i only have one thing to criticise, it would be the Very high scale, even though they are really nice, many details are missing while scaling them, Molle webbings don't appear as sharp as in the previews, laces pouches ..., Might be good to "exagerate" them. Keep going appart from that, really nice job

Simon

I concur. These are NOT tabletop wargaming models. There is way too much stuff and details on them that doesn't print like tiny screws, facetted optics, etc. The pre-supported versions are a good example. If the support covers up details, don't even sculpt the detail, it's wasted time for everyone. Getting feedback before launching the patreon would have been a good way to figure this out beforehand. Otherwise very cool models.

TurnBaseMiniatures

Its up to people to print them on any scale they want if they want details to pop out more. don't quite understand how some people actually don't like having good details but hey, i still do them regardless, whether its for scale modelers, tabletop gamers, or collectors i personally don't like fattened rifles and accessories. that's why i sculpted these in the first place thanks for the feedback though :D

TurnBaseMiniatures

so yeah, basically we'll never do half baked details on our models. we'll be changing our scale to 3.6% though and re-orientating our models to have less supports on the rifles. i think that would make the details pop out more

Simon

Every description says these models are for 28mm tabletop wargames, though, so all my answers will be based around that. A detail that is coverd up by a support or fails to print either because it's not supported or just to small/thin is imo worse than a less detailed model. The bodies are fine, the guns are problematic.

Guys, I just don't wanna be mistaken, your minis are awesome, but i plan to go on the merchant tier, and took your minis in the first place to check how it prints and how it looks. I can understand that you want them to be printable for many scales, but i join on Simon on his point, when you say its for scale modelers, tabletop gamers, or collectors. and for the upscaling to 3.6 imo it's not a good option, as it would make them bigger than most ranges available. It was just my opinion, it's not worth anything, just my thoughts.
