my take on korangi is that they're a very volatile friends-with-benefits relationship that's mutually both very possessive and no strings attached. which is to say, they both have sincere affection for each other, but horangi is allergic to having a healthy relationship and tries his best to make it seem like he's only there for sex, and konig is a romantic at heart who is frustrated at his situation but also doesn't want to sacrifice what he has.
