A Monster Calls - 2016 (Patreon)

Ok guys... I went into this thinking it was a horror movie XD. I didnt watch a trailer, i didnt see the cast, I didnt read the synopsis. I just knew the title and i saw a cropped version of the poster where i couldnt see the child so... it looked like a horror movie.

So i wasnt ready for the heartbreak. I wasnt ready AT ALL. I think i cried the last 15 minutes of the movie.

It was really beaitufl and i really liked the way they talked about loss and everything that comes with it even more when we are talking about a child. The cast did an incredible job. This young guy was so good i am shocked. The way they explored his feelings and how he was dealing with everything. The way he created this monster to find a way to cope and to voice what he wasnt able or ready to face. I just loved it.

And the style of those stories? The watercolors sections were so beautiful to watch. I was really surprised by the quality of those sections of the movie. 

And then everything happens... and he has to face what is happening... and i cried so much i ended up with an headache XD...
