Tatsumilky Even More Color Animation Progress, + Magical C Teaser (Patreon)

The animators were not making things easy for me with this scene. Not only did the keyframes not really match up with the rate of her hovering up and down, but the height to which she alternates between was different with each cycle, so I ended up having to go back and fill in the gaps that ended up appearing when the frames ended up not matching up. On the bright side though, these frames get reused again after the closeup in the next portion, so I shouldn't need to redo anything when we get to there. Also since next week is when the monthly work period would cut off, I'm gonna compile what I was able to get done with the original footage and audio for the video version.

And also I'm ready to announce that I'm starting a new scratch animation. This one is being funded by Corivas and unlike the previous scratch animation I started, this one is already mostly payed for and also much shorter. It's also going to have alot more unique frames to its length, so I'll be able to get alot more dynamic animation than I've been able to do in these previous projects, which is the part that's got me the most excited to get to.
I didn't have much time to work on it this last week other than some preliminary design sketching, but this week I'm expecting to get started on the storyboarding and keyframe sketching.

And lastly I wanted to run by y'all what I think the new voting system will be once I've caught up on everything. I was originally thinking the solution might have been to put an increased monthly gap between when similar species ideas could be submitted, since the one month gap I originally implemented was short enough that it even went unnoticed by some. Having spent so long working on the multi-month project that was the Tatsumaki one and also seeing how many other multi-month projects keep getting submitted, any substantial increase to the gap would make multi-month projects almost unfeasible. So what I think might work is that to still keep up variety, there will be a six month gap before a tf idea that's a similar species can be submitted, with the exception of if it's to continue a project that has already won a vote, in which case it will only be a two month gap. How does that sound?
I've also been suggested to enforce that if a patron's idea wins a vote, then they will need to wait before being able to submit another idea. So far no patron has ever won two votes in a row, so for there to be any change upon that, they would need to wait two months before being able to submit again. Is that something you all would also want to see changed? Let me know whatever you think. I'm willing to take as long as is needed to get this right.
