The grammys was such a shit time for real. I feel like ppl who werent there cant quite understand how traumatic the whole thing was tbh...the way the media hyped them and us up and the broadcast used them for views and then they didnt win and then so many articles spun it like they failed for not winning and there was that grotesquely racist garbage pale kids cartoon going around...ugh the whole thing was so emotionally draining. And how it really seemed like they would win and they built the set and stayed awake so long to watch the broadcast i just felt so bad for them but they kept their positivity through it though im sure it sucked. At least with butter they had comcerts right after to shift the focus and by then i think the performance was more the focus and we all were jaded by the grammys so it hurt less even though it still is so frustrating. Ugh truly hate tbe grammys but i get that it is still so iconic that they are there and great exposure for them worldwide.
