- beef scissors - (I love that, it's so cute xD) - kitchen shears/scissors are a normal part of the Korean kitchen, including the dining table, as it's far easier and more efficient to cut things into bite-sized pieces with scissors, rather than a knife - and when handling food with chopsticks, bite-sized is essential - when it comes to Korean bbq, it is a crucial utensil, which is why Jimin gave Hobi a little bit of a hard time for starting the grilling without them xD - the reason why the boys gave Namjoon some flack for the way he cooked the rice is because, when it comes to microwaveable rice, the proper way is to pull back just enough of the plastic to create a vent for the steam to escape, but if you just rip back the whole lid and leave it wide open like Namjoon did, then, rather than the rice steaming and coming out sticky, it will just cook dried out - oh yeah, scissors are needed for grilling pork belly because, normally, you take the large thick slabs, let them grill a bit, then slice them into bite-sized portions to finish grilling them (getting a good grill on every bit of the meat as well as ensuring the thick pieces get cooked through properly - no one wants to eat pork belly that's still raw in the center) - what Yoongi was doing at the end - laid down a bed of rock salt on the foil directly on the grill - using the rock salt to cook shell-on shrimp, letting the salt flavor permeate the shrimp as it cooks - it's kinda the same concept as when people cook fish and steak crusted over with salt/rock salt - you don't actually eat that salt, you just use it to cook on/in, to gently season the food as it cooks
