I can say. I was NOT disappointed. FAR from it! I hope that you all enjoy my reaction and truly understand what I am trying to convey in my commentary. Hearing you say BTS are documenting live during pandemic through their music hits different after I saw some armys on twitter saying that if you rearrange the words in PERMISSION TO DANCE you get STORIES ON PANDEMIC, like an anagram. It's mind blowing!😮

I have read so much and tried to stay silent on how I feel about this song. I think I just have a lot of negative feelings towards people who are hating on this song. BTS has never and will never fit into a box. They change and grow and are very vocal in the directions they choose to go. That being said, to the people who are taking 3 English language songs as the end of BTS especially when we just got BE, is absolute madness. To those who expect them to offer English songs with the same insane depth that the Korean songs have is just crazy. 6 of the members are still very much learning to speak in English and it is a huge achievement to be able to perform and say all the words they are using. You'd think a fandom where many ARMY are attempting to learn Korean would understand just how hard even speaking a sentence in another language is. If they choose to want to continue to release songs in English, I highly doubt you will see lyrics matching the depth of there Korean lyrics for years. Im so proud of them and so proud every single day to be ARMY. PTD makes me smile, and it makes them smile and honestly that is all i need from them. This pandemic has hit everyone hard, and to be able to get up every single day and still work as hard as they do, and put everything in to the music they release is something to admire. Its sad that people are hating on the effort they are putting out just because they dont the sound of the song. If you dont like it, skip it, but dont hate on something theyve put so much time and effort into. This is just how i feel about the song, and the general vibe ive seen around Twitter. Im glad that Landon gave such an honest review, i just wish others would be as open to it without hating it because it doesnt sound like BTS from 3 years ago.
