Hey guys! Sorry I have been silent the past few days, but if you see the title of this post, you know its because my SOUL LEFT MY BODY when I heard Dark & Wild!! AHHHH! In part one, we explore Danger, War of Hormone, Hip Hop Phile, Let Me Know, and Rain!!!

If you remember Skool Luv Affair was all about courtship and understanding crushes and feelings of love, but Dark&Wild is really about insecurities in relationships and trying to find one's identity among teenage worries and hormones. It follows very nicely the school trilogy! My favorite songs are Rain and 2nd Grade, but this whole album is freaking amazing from start to finish! PS. About War Of Hormone, I always listen to it as a song expressing the really stupid stuff teenage boys say to try to get girls, the lines are so cringy and awkward they make me laugh but the beat is fire, it's so fun! Also YES it is a Frozen reference in Hobi's verse!! And one more: the 'Because of who' part is from the Cypher pt 2 hook!!

I totally agree with you about WOH. I'm a feminist and an activist and the way people talked about WOH I imagined something just horrible. Stan twitter even does this cringey meme thing like "WOH is on and I'll happily go back to the kitchen for it!" So I was expecting much worse. But then it's like this mostly cute song worshiping women that has a couple of lines that demonstrate an (unfortunately very common) unconscious objectification. It's no more eye-roll inducing to me than some of the one-liners from popular 2000s sitcoms. Especially since I know these guys are really incredibly good and respectful humans. I don't like the Danger lyrics though. Danger is one of my fave MVs and like top 20 songs. But something about a bunch of guys aggressively singing "Don't make me angry, you're in danger" is a no go for me. So that's a lyrics off vid for me. haha
