Progress update - To the moon! (Patreon)

Hello everyone! Here's a little progress update on what I've been up to. Apologies if I've been quiet on the discord server, I'm in the process of moving out, that doesn't mean I haven't been working! The goal of an update in less than 2 months is still on!

First of all, I wanted to get the sprites out of the way...

Luna's normal sprite was already fine, I didn't make any changes to her design nor did I redraw it like I did to Ruri or Mia. I only removed a little bit of thickness from her lines and changed the color, it was the only character that didn't have the layered image function, so it's done.

Also needed for this scene and future ones is the "encounter" sprite (the one used with the hud), that's pretty much done. I just need to add a couple more variants of eyes and mouths, and then all the HUD stuff required by the story.

Then, for the stuff that people really want to see, I'm done with the artwork for one of the animations.

Ideally I'd like to add some functionality/control to the animated parts (Well... whether the girl listens to you is another matter.) I'm going to experiment a bit with this, if I can't make it work I'll move it to another time so as not to delay the schedule.

The hardest part of this is drawing all the moving parts, the animation side doesn't take much time in comparison. The problem is that one of the parts I ordered to upgrade my machine (the motherboard) didn't work so it will take a while until they send it back to me, this could take a month and mess up the schedule since I can't animate on my current machine. Luckily a friend of mine was building a mining rig but he doesn't have the money to buy the GPUs, so I can use his rig to work on for the time being (with my 1650s and his more up-to-date components). Anyway I'm not going to animate these stuff right now, it will be closer to the end of the development of this update (v0.3.5) as I still have hopes of using the parts I ordered to work.

Now continuing with the animations themselves. I didn't use a more interesting perspective to shoot this scene as I would like to reuse some of the parts, maybe the scene can be built upon in the future when the game is more free to explore. I tried to do something like this in the past... but now I have more experience and that time it was all side view, this time it's more like a dedicated xxx encounter. I hope I can pull it off...
