Regarding Ties on the Fanart Poll (Patreon)

In the poll itself, if on any given month there are 10 or more submissions, it will be split into a preliminary and a final poll. The top 4 characters in the preliminary poll will then move onto the final. In the event of ties within the preliminary, additional slots will be added to the finals, up to 7 total.

On the incredibly slim chance that enough ties would result in 8 or more slots needed, submissions will be determined by vote total in descending order, and if cuts are still needed at that point I will manually select the remainder. This is a very specific scenario that I almost feel will need to be intentional to occur, but I want to have a solution written out for it.

Furthermore, in the finals poll, the most voted for character will be the winner. In the event of a tie, I will manually determine a winner from among the tied characters.

I figured this would be important info to specify at some point, as I realized I never properly clarified what would happen under these circumstances.

Also, the rules for ties in the finals also applies to the bonus poll near the end of the month, but 2nd place in that has a good chance of showing up as a bonus illustration the following month anyway.
