November Poll Results! (+Announcement!) (Patreon)

The results are in and the winner for last month's poll is Scene 4! Probably to no one's surprise since it had a large lead in the main poll and the most upperclassmen votes ^^; . So when we get to Mina's training scene later in Day 5 you'll now have the option to offer to help her practice things from the other end as well, potentially meeting an embarrassing end if you haven't been watching your weight and still insist on doing so.

While we're on the subject of polls, there's an important change I'm going to be implementing going forward! It's something I've considered doing before, and it was recently brought up and discussed by a few people on the discord in response to how the recent poll went. So, starting this month, the character that features in a winning scene will be barred from having a significant role in any suggestions for the next two months. The goal here is to keep certain characters from dominating the polls and maintain a bit more variety, giving others a chance to have the spotlight. It's been pointed out that there is at least the potential for a vicious cycle with the polls: people really like a certain character so they suggest/vote for scenes with them, then there's more content with that character compared to others so more people get attached to them, leading to more people voting for scenes involving them, and so on. This rule change helps to combat that a little bit and try to keep things more balanced.

I am applying it retroactively, so that means that this month Leah is banned from the poll (the winner for October featured her), and Mina is banned for both December and January (she won last month). Let me know your thoughts and any questions you have about this! I am open to repealing the rule if people don't seem to be happy with it, but I'd like to at least test it out.

As a final note, I'd like to thank you all for the support you showed after my announcement of the delay! It really meant a lot to me to read through all your kind words and well wishes, both on the post and those that reached out to me privately. I feel silly having teared up over an erotic text adventure, but you all are a fantastic community. I hope you know that I appreciate you beyond just your patronage on here.

I'm still not back at 100%, but I'm slowly starting to get back into the groove of things. The next dev build might still end up being a little small, but I'll do my best! And I'll hopefully  have finished making my choices for writing assistants within a week or so.
