It's dev build time again! This one may seem like not much changed, but it's because most of what I finished since last time is under the hood! All of the systems mentioned in the last recode update are fully implemented and (fingers crossed) working. This means the new weight gain system is in place, stats are now experience based and you'll gain progress toward improvement even from partial successes, and the capacity system is in place. That last one you may not really notice yet, because I found out while testing that all the pred scenes in day 1 are spread out perfectly that it's almost impossible to be far enough along in digestion to start a second scene without completely finishing the first, but hypothetically you can do that now!
What is definitely noticeable and new is that the last two patron scenes have been completed and are fully playable! So go find out what happens if you get to Chandra before Leah does, or decide to be a jerk and just kinda let Emma get eaten at the end of the day!
Also included in this update, you'll notice that (almost) every time you have the option to eat someone there will also be an option with "(Aggressive)" after it. Picking that option will spend extra stamina to boost your chances of getting them down. A similar option is available for prey scenes with the "Alert" toggle that's now (temporarily) at the bottom of the screen! If you set yourself to "On Alert", then anytime someone tries to eat you you'll lose a chunk of stamina, but get a boost to your odds of escaping them.
This is an unstable version of the game, so be aware that you may encounter bugs, dead ends, and unfinished scenes:
