Plush delay + 2024 new tier/changes (Patreon)

Hello! I've been meaning to write this down for a bit but I keep forgetting. This month has just flown by I can't believe we barely have about a week left.... Which means the pressure of having to finish stuff is more present than ever

First of all as you can probably guess by the date, the plush isn't shipping out this month! While originally I was given a production date of about a month, I guess it ended up being around 2, which is about to be expected considering we are in holidays season. 

However! The date given to complete production was towards the end of December, the specific date would be 28/29th, but I wouldn't be surprised if they don't ship out my way until January.

Next is the potential addition of a new tier, I would like to start a monthly sticker club! This year was a major learning experience in terms of production, shipping, etc etc., so I feel comfortable with toying with the idea of monthly physical rewards.

For now it'll be just stickers since they are easy to get made, other stuff like charms require at the very least a week or 2 of production, ignoring the time it takes to get shipped my way too, I think it'd be very easy to get overwhelmed with the deadlines in that regard....

However! I think it would be cool for it to be like, every 3 months you get stickers but also a charm, and for every 6 months an enamel pin! I really want to make those....

I'm thinking of pricing this tier at $20, I would like it to be cheaper but this is the price to pay for being international!!!!!! I want to justify the cost with the aforementioned charm/pin plan, too. Tier 4 members will automatically be included, so no need to downgrade your pledge to join! Speaking of, I think I'll finally open up a new slot for it next year.... or maybe not, we'll see. I don't think I should be adding more work to myself, speaking of....

I think the monthly polls have finally started to take a toll on me... especially when I have considerate backlogs of work as I do right now they end up being another weight added, from doing the doodles for the poll itself to the finished piece. Stuff like should I be working on this piece that I promised for this month or should I prioritize older commission/rewards stuff? But if I do then what's due this month will end up being added to the backlog and the cycle goes on....

I don't think I'm phasing them out entirely, the R18 ones will stay up working as they always have been, but I think the regular ones will change. With the potential sticker club idea I'm thinking of perhaps tying them together? Have the polls decide which theming the sticker set of the month will be based around and things like that.

Everything's up in the air now and won't take immediate effect starting January. I think I'll take that month to really clear up all my delayed work. Commissions are all almost out of the  way!! So Tier 4 rewards are next on the list. I will however most likely use Tier 4 members as a test of sorts, I'll check out a few printing places to see which one has best quality for stickers and so on.

I would like to have everything cleared out to start things out properly in February hopefully? Who knows, we will see...
