While I wait for Will to get back to me on the Paradise Mountain document, I've started working on other aspects of the Yue setting. For my home game, a player may end up shifting away from a class completely (either by choice or death). In an inspired creative burst, I started drafting an ENTIRE D&D 5th EDITION CLASS for them.

I never thought this would happen, but I guess this is another thing I'll be bombarding you amazing folks with...development on the Youxia class. Guess it'll be a fun way to not only use the Paradise Mountain zine in your D&D games, but also test out new character options to fit with the setting! It's almost like I planned that from the very beginning!

You are a champion of the common people - a wandering hero who protects the innocent and seeks to correct injustices using their martial skills and diplomacy. Youxia typically do not serve a lord, hold military power, or belong to an aristocratic social class (though they may originate from one).

So far, I almost have the first 5 levels of this class drafted alongside a way to incorporate qi into narrative and mechanical play for EVERY player (think of it as an amended rule).

Scratch that...I wrote out all 20 levels (just working on a specific feature)! I'll probably do a video explaining everything once I sort out some of the other details.
