I did it! After weeks of hard work, I officially got certified as a Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE)! MIEs use Microsoft tools in classroom settings  to better learning and student outcomes. Through my new job, I've already been able to get out into the community and make a difference using technology. My first opportunity was demonstrating the potential of the Xbox Adaptive Controller at the 2019 Abilities Expo. This past week, I spent two days running coding workshops using Minecraft at a school in Thornhill! 

Learning about technology, gaming, and computer literacy is something I've grown passionate about. How I can leverage that in the tabletop world is also something I've really given some thought to as well!

Congratulations! That Sounds awesome! I also work in IT, but as a test automation engineer... still thinking to how to develop myself further. Looking forward reading more from you about the mentioned topic :)
