Hello gents
Todays update isn't the one I planed but It's an update : ) It's A follow up of Makoto and Elizabeth, I had possible planed to have another part inbetween this and the office prank pic, two but here we are. I will give a small rant on my computer issues and also mention why i went with this picture today.
Small rant.
Yesterday I got a fancy new Cintiq that I saved up for, it's basically a screen that you draw on. Happy with my new investment I gave my old stuff to a friend that also draws but to a lesser degree then myself. Then troubles. Turns out wacom and their drivers aren't always as great as they could be. I get wobbly lines in photoshop. I will link you an example here: http://orig04.deviantart.net/b3d1/f/2014/252/f/3/how_to_fix_your_wacom_s_wobbly_lines__by_elsakroese-d7yjwit.jpg
(from another person who had this problem and used and older driver to make it work). Using older drivers is sadly not an option since this is a new model and drivers only go back to 2014. I had this problem in the past with another wacom product and used old drivers then to fix it. This problem makes lineart horrible, which sucks, I decided to finish up the Makoto/Eliz pic since I had already linearted it before this all happened. I spent my entire yesterday trying to fix this and find solutions but nothing seems to work. I have contacted wacom but gotten no response yet and I will try now to format the harddrive and upgrade the from win7 to win10 and see if that helps. Worst case scenario I will have to use another program to lineart since this problem only occurs in photoshop, it's like photoshop and wacom don't mix well for some. Now I figure would mention this since this means that possible an update or two might be a little rougher, maybe doing some sketches and such instead, but with some luck I will work this out. Or well, I guess I might need to learn an additional program to photoshop so I can line and stuff. About to clear out the harddive, wish me luck with this small but horrible problem.
Now stay awesome guys, and hopefully you will have a a good weekend! Sorry about the pic, I feel I had to rush it a bit, lineart wasn't as good as I wanted it and colors and brightness is a bit different on the new cintiq, probably better, I think my old screen was to dark. Still will take a little while to adjust to these things. Again, have a good one, cheers!
