Update on the future of my Patreon and Discord (Please read!) (Patreon)
Content
To cut to the chase, I am heavily downsizing my Patreon starting from now to work as just a Tip Jar, and I am closing my Discord Server. I'll explain below.
I've enjoyed doing Patreon work for a while since I started, but since the start of last year I have quickly found myself in a constant state of catching up, with my health issues, my ability to draw slowing, an ever growing amount of Patreon WIPs and an even longer amount of commissions in queue. The buildup of everything here has stressed me out and as a result has made my work ethic become extremely sluggish.
I want to narrow my focus, and I consider getting the lengthy commission queue complete to be a much more important job for me, and so I think what is best for me is to downsize my Patreon as much as possible.
For what this means...
I will be getting rid of the Veronica Tier, and downsizing the Shou Tier, so that it acts as solely a Tip Jar to support me and my work, if you still wish to.
There will be no more exclusive work or monthly polls, as I wish to focus on commission work for the time being. Commission work and the occasional personal drawings will still be posted here, but there is no guarantee that there will be art every month now.
The Patreon Discord will be closed. I had already downsized it last year so that it acted as a gallery over a social space, and with the change to the type of content being released there's now no need for it. When this post goes live I'll be archiving all channels except the announcements and rules channels, (EDIT: I'll keep the server live so that the people in it already can use the emojis and stickers)
Sorry for the short notice, this has something that has been brewing in my mind for the last could of months. I'll be making these changes over the course of the rest of this month, and it should all be finalized by the end of the month. I can't thank you all enough for your support on Patreon over the last few years, I appreciate it so much.
