Next build status + sneak peek (Patreon)

Hello everyone!

This is kind of a short post just to update you on the progress for the next build.

As you already know I continue working on Neruko's story, however, the artist in charge of the CGs is currently sick with Covid, so he may not be able to get the CGs done for Neruko's event #2 and #3 as planned.

In the meantime, attached is a sneak peek for one of the CGs for event #3

Also, as always, a location BG is being updated with an original BG, this time's turn is for the lake's location, here's how georgous the lake will look like:

The next build may not have a lot of content added, however I'm working on a lot of code changes, specially polishing the randomly generated character dialogues, and adjusting some stats to make it easier to progress with them.

Lastly, you may know or may not know this, but I currently host HTopia's web app and services in Heroku which is kind of like a web hosting service provider. The current builds are all hosted under their Free tier, which has been really useful since I learned about Heroku since like 7 years ago.

Last week they announced they will get rid of the Free tier, forcing all their users to go on a paid plan. There's a lot of debate and a lot of users not happy at all with this decision (me included), you can check their tweet about these news from them here: https://twitter.com/heroku/status/1562817050565054469 

With this said, I'm currently looking for other web hosting alternatives and so far I've found Render hosting very promising. I actually got to deploy htopia on it pretty quickly and easy. So I will update you if I move HTopia to a different service and of course will let you know the new URL.
