Zines, comics, art books, and more! (Patreon)

Last year I started selling zines and prints at the Portland Zine Symposium. It was an awesome experience! I met so many artists and saw some groundbreaking work. I'm looking forward to PZS this year, and I hope to see new creators and familiar faces.

I realized that by selling my work at the Zine Symposium, I was only able to reach just a fraction of the people I wanted to reach. So this year, I launched my online shop!

Right now in my shop, you can pick up a copy of four different zines/comics: Friendship, Four Eyes, Sappy, and Girls Love. I offer certain zines as digital downloads, as well.

1. Friendship

Friendship (2018) is a comic about packing up and moving to a new city with no housing, no job, and no friends. And then finding all those things! It is a fourteen page comic in black and white, and has been known to be a real tear jerker. Anyone who has ever felt lonely, homesick, or uncertain will feel this comic.

2. Four Eyes

Four Eyes (2018) is a full color photo essay about eight women and their eye glasses. As someone with perfect (or near perfect) vision, I cannot fathom what it's like to have such a ubiquitous disability. I interviewed eight friends and requested they send me a picture of where their eyeglasses are when they don't need them (sleeping, showering, etc). The intent was to take a quick snapshot to frame these experiences as every day and put the focus on the words of these women. A perfect gift for friends with and without eyeglasses alike.

3. Sappy

Sappy (2018) was one of my first ever zines. It is a short zine about my relationship with my girlfriend. Cute, sapphic romance, black and white, $2. What more can I say?

4. Girls Love

Girls Love (2018) is an art book featuring some anime girls I like. Illustrations include characters from Sailor Moon, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Yurikuma, Death Note, and more. Eleven full color illustrations with cute girls!

BONUS: Zodiacsona Art Book Volume 1

You can also order a copy of Zodiacsona Art Book Volume 1, featuring nine full color illustrations of horoscope creatures.  The Zodiacsona project is one that I have been enjoying immensely. I'll continue writing about this project in another post, but know that patrons will get to see WIPs and sneak peeks of these illustrations before they go online.
