Early Look: Jude ⚔️ + December Plans! New video, animating, & more 🌟 (Patreon)

Hello everyone and happy new month! 😍

Here is an early look at my newest drawing, Jude Duarte from The Cruel Prince book series! I looove imagining what book characters look like and then translating my imagination into a drawing like this ☺️ Jude is one of the coolest warrior female leads ever and I wanted to capture her fierceness! 🧡

I recorded a new video today showing how I add rendering detail to a drawing that’s already somewhat “done” but feels like it needs something more to make it feel completely finished! Here’s the before and after:)

For me, the first image is one of the hardest parts of the drawing process to move past and turn into something that looks clean and done, so I’ll show you how I go through that process:) Stay tuned for the video, I’ll be posting it soon for all Big-Hearted Butterflies & Devoted Dragonflies! 🥰

Plans for this month:

Last month my goal was to get outside my comfort zone and draw more cinematic scenes, and I ended up making a bunch of landscape style drawings that I never thought I would do 🥲💗 November was full of challenges and new discoveries in my art, and this month I want to keep making more scenes like that 🥰

I also downloaded Procreate Dreams, and I’ve been playing with animation! And omg animating is SO MUCH WORK but I kind of really love it at the same time 👀 If you’ve been watching my stories, you probably saw I’ve been animating a scene from pride and prejudice 🥰

Maybe when I’m done animating it I can post it as a mini video here for you guys haha 🙈 Have any of you tried procreate dreams yet??
