Hello everyone & happy weekend! 🥰

I’ve been busy working on our tutorial video about how to paint different lighting scenarios and I wanted to show you guys a few sneak-peeks!

So far I’ve been covering warm golden hour lighting and cold rainy lighting :) I’m making sure to cover a lot of detail about each step of how to use colors for shadows and lighting to create feelings of warmth or cold, and it’s been so much fun to film so far! 😍

I wanted to paint a couple lighting scenarios on the same drawing to show you guys how the lighting, shadows, and colors would change on one face :) Now I’ve prepared another sketch to show a few more lighting scenarios! I drew all day today so now I’m gonna take a little break and probably read and drink tea 📚☕️

I’ll share more updates with you guys soon!! Love you all and hope you have a happy weekend 🥰💕

Love the lighting, can’t wait to see the tutorial. Been using procreate a lot more recently, still trying to get more familiar with the program.

I'm SO excited about this!! lol If I could request one thing? Pleeeease maybe consider making the tutorial video *real-time* on all the examples? ❤️ like your amazing hair drawing tutorial last year or so? waiting years for this unique tutorial &being able to see all the processes of EACH example will be the most useful thing everrrrr. ... ... but that's just an idea and a humble request 😆 Have a great weekend!

I looove that idea! 🧡 I’ve actually been thinking of adding some walkthrough style video options to our bonus video polls each month since those are really helpful! Filming a full drawing walkthrough from start to finish takes a lot of time, so I want to cover one drawing per walkthrough :) In the tutorial I’m definitely covering each lighting scenario in slow detail though to lead you guys through each step of the process! 💕

Thanks Cortni! 😍 It’s awesome you’re getting familiar with procreate, it’s such a useful tool and definitely my favorite program to work with! So excited to share the video with you guys 🥰
