Happy weekend everyone! :)

I've been doing a lot of drawing this weekend and wanted to show you what I've been working on! 🥰 I'm currently working on some sketches of full body poses at the moment, specifically ones with feet poses because I'm going to be making a step-by-step tutorial sheet about how to draw feet for you guys 🧡 Feet can be just as tricky as hands but they can also be really fun to draw, so I'm excited to create a guide for you 😄

Speaking of tutorials, don't forget to leave a suggestion here for our tutorial video this month! There are already sooo many good ones! 😍

I've also been working more on my Webtoon and wanted to show you all some more sneak-peeks! I'm having so much fun drawing really dramatic scenes haha 🙈 Something I've been working on is having a mix of detailed backgrounds mixed with more subtle backgrounds, while also making sure that I'm maintaining a fast pace of working on each panel in order to keep the process quick and simple. A lot of webtoon artists use background assets that they drop behind their characters to speed up the workflow, so I did some research on it and now I'm incorporating a bit of that into my comic ☺️ It also helps to use easy stamp brushes for things like leaves, tree branches, clouds, etc!

Anywho, my weekend plans are to work on my feet pose sketches so I can get started on the step-by-step, draw for my webtoon, and rest before a busy week ahead 🥰 I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!

Love,

Lydia 💌

Thanks for sharing your webtoon pieces. What made you decide to use this vertical format?
