Happy August everyone!! Welcome to a new month :) 🧡

To start off this month, I’ve been working on a new downloadable color palette for you all that focuses on skin tones! :) A while back I shared this skin tone palette that gives a spectrum of dark earthy tones, rosy tones, and golden tones for skin, but with this new palette I’ll be including a few darker tones, blush tones, shading tones, and also the specific blue tones that I use for skin ✨

It will also include some coloring guides to get you started on how to use the palette too:) It’s almost done so I’ll try to post it for you guys later today! 🥰

Now let’s talk about what’s happening this month! 🤍

Lots of you probably know that I started working on my first ever Webtoon comic last month, because I’ve been falling in love with webcomics and telling stories with my art lately 🥰 It’s something I’ve never done before and I’m really enjoying it as a side hobby. It made me realize that being an artist isn’t just about creating one kind of art, it’s really about simply creating. I love being able to combine my love for drawing with telling a story (even a goofy romance like what I’m working on right now! 😂) And exploring a new avenue alongside my usual art feels sooo refreshing! ☺️

Anywho, I'll be continuing to work on the webtoon this month and show you guys more sneak-peeks as I go! I also want to focus on practicing a lot more character design and color theory in general this month, so I'm excited ☺️ 

In other news, my birthday is on the 3rd this month so we’re going on a family trip to the mountains this week! I’ll be taking my camera and my iPad with me to draw and film while we’re there 🥰

There’s a lot more that I’ve got planned for this month but I’ll save it as a surprise for now since this post is already soooo long 🙈 I can’t wait to dive into a new month with you guys!! Let’s make it a fun one 😊🤍
