Happy July! 💌 Sketch sneak-peek + what’s happening this month! ✨ (Patreon)

Hello everyone & welcome to a new month! ✨

I hope you’re all doing well today :) I started the morning with a coffee shop sketch session and I wanted to share some progress with you so far! ☺️

I wanted to challenge myself with a pose I haven’t tried drawing before, and I thought it would be fun to draw an action pose! I’m trying to focus on capturing some movement in this one and really enjoying the process 🧡

Something I want to focus on this month is doing more studies that are outside of my comfort zone like this, especially dynamic poses and also more environments! I painted a studio ghibli scene recently and it honestly renewed my love for painting environments 🥲 They’re much harder for me compared to characters and I almost always struggle with them haha so I want to practice them more :) 

Speaking of my studio ghibli scene, I‘m going to share the file with you guys as a wallpaper that you can download for your phone or iPad! 💌

I have it as my lock screen and here’s what it looks like! 🥰 I’ll share the wallpaper download with you guys later today :) I’ll also be sharing the full process video of the drawing with you guys tomorrow so get readyyy! 🎞

On another random note, something I’ve been thinking about doing is filming some drawing challenges in some future videos for you guys 👀 I think it would be really fun to film something like the 1 minute, 10 minute, 1 hour drawing challenge or the left hand challenge or the no undo button challenge lol what do you guys think?? Is there a challenge you think would be fun to watch? 

Anyway 🥰 I‘m so excited to dive into a new month with you guys!! Thank you so so much to each and every one of you for being here and for all the new patrons who have joined so far!! I am so grateful for all of you wonderful people 🧡
