Sketch WIP: drawing a scene with high contrast lighting 🖤🥀🌧️ (Patreon)

Hello everyone! 🥰

Last night we got back from our trip, so I’m finally back in my studio space! 😍 It feels so nice to be resuming my usual routine and getting back to a normal schedule :) I missed my lil workspace 🥲

Today I’m starting with a scene study from a kdrama called Strangers from Hell! It’s a very high contrast lighting scenario and I LOVE the intense red tones and dark shadows (plus the rain ☺️) and I wanted to show you my sketches so far :)

I’m recording the full process of this drawing for a real-time video for you guys! 🖤 So you’ll get to see the gesturing, line art, and of course the coloring and rendering 🥰 I’ll start coloring it today and show you more sneak-peeks soon!

What’re you guys studying right now?? Right now I want to improve my lighting techniques so this is good practice for me:)
