It's been a grower for a lot of people! I am not sure quite how to put it, but... It's like there's kind of an explosion of sound that overwhelms, and it takes a while to be able to fully process the music... I think this song could probably have used an instrumental on the album because some of the parts in the MV making film where you can hear that heavy bass sound...
