Comment on the pet thing- I think a lot of people don't understand how much a pet can grow to mean to a person. Not t every one of them, sure, but I had a cat who slept in my bed every single night outside of vacations for 15 of some of my most formative years (16-31). I'm a homebody too so I literally spent more time for those years with this animal in touching distance than a single other human. She's been gone for 6 years and I'm wiping tears off my face just because I thought of her for five minutes right now. I've also been an animal tech my entire adult life, so I connect with animals more than most people, and I know that aspect of personality adds to it. But a bond with an animal can be very, VERY strong. For some people, their pet might be their only friend, the only living thing they feel really lives them. I wish more people could take the time to understand and not make people who can't just be okay after a pet dies feel lesser for it just because it's not a human. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk ;)

Yeah, I agree. That was Something I had to learn how to do once I understood it more. Once I learned the true meaning of a 'Bond', I was able to be more empathetic.

The pet thing. I can truly relate. I am 35, no kids. Not married. But I have my Archie [ yorkie x] I'd do absolutely anything for him. When Russia invaded Ukraine, my dad's friend did not leave his apartment, he did not want to leave his 3 dogs behind to be scared not knowing what's happening and even die alone. Thankfully all 4 are now safe. Should the same thing happen in South Africa, I would do the same. I wouldn't bare to live with the guilt of leaving my pet alone. Anyways, please please don't forget to react to Jimin's video as well. It was quite funny and adorable.
