*Bonus* Anth's FC24 ReShade Looks V1.00 - EARLY RELEASE!!! (Patreon)

We're getting rid of that terrible EA colour palette!! I colour grade a lot of video as part of my job so I wanted to take some of this and apply it to FC24!

Remember, there are a lot of variables, so each stadium, in game-pitch colour selection etc will create different looks. Some look much better at night for example, others look better during the day. 

Some combinations will look terrible and others will suit much better - find the ones that best suits your needs - and feel free to make some of your own!

To be clear this is a ReShade over the top of the game. 

The looks will provide a signficant improvement over the default colour palette, but I personally use the brilliant Esim Turfsreal and Esim Colour Grade as a BASE, with the ReShade Looks over the top.

This is what I find gives the best possible look and most of the example pictures you see are with this combination.

For those wanting to see what the Esim turf and colour looks like before the ReShade, there is an example in the download of one with default Esim turf and colour grade and then another image with the ReShade added over the top. This way you can see exactly what type of thing the ReShade is adding.
 

Installation: 

**You will first need FC24 Live Editor installed in order for reshade to work with EAFC24. You will need to launch EAFC24 via the live editor for it to work.

Important: If ReShade doesn't work, you may need to rename the 'dxgi.dll' file to d3d11.dll.

1. Install the 'ReShade_Setup_5.3.0.exe' included in the download. If you have an existing ReShade attached to your FIFA 23, you will need to uninstall it first.

2. Attach Reshade to the EAFC24 exe.

3. When asked 'Which Rendering API etc', select Direct 3D 10/11/12 

3. Hit 'Skip' when asked which effects you'd like to install.

4. Copy and paste the following into your EAFC24 directory.

     -  All of the .ini files

     -  'reshade-shaders' folder (If you have an existing reshade-shaders folder, delete it)

6. Launch the game.

7. Press "Home" on your keyboard to activate the dropdown menu once the game has launched. Hit Skip tutorial.

8. Switch to the "Settings" tab

9. Look for the "Effect Search Paths" tab and hit the +. Find EAFC24\reshade-shaders\Shaders and select.

10. Look for the "Texture Search Paths" tab and hit the +. Find EAFC24\reshade-shaders\Textures and select.

11. Switch back to the "Home" tab and click on "Reload" to load the shaders. 

12. Toggle between the different looks as you please.

**IMPORTANT NOTES**

1.  Certain looks will look better with particular conditions/colour pitches - and some will look horrible with the wrong combination. Shuffle through until you find what works best for you!

2. You will get slightly different looks when using different pitch mods. The change in pitch textures has an impact on the look. 

3. Not ALL of the effects should be active for every look. Some shouldn't be activated in each preset so you DON'T need to activate all. If they load correctly some should be activated, some shouldn't.

4. Ignore how it looks in the game MENU screens. The look will fit once you're in stadium. 

5. The way it comes looks right on my screen, but I would imagine there will be some differences depending on your monitor/tv.  My monitor is relatively low contrast, so adjust according to your own tastes.

6. If you make changes, they will STAY. If you want to make adjustments I recommend making a copy of that preset first, or keep a backup of the original presets.

7. If Reshade makes your game laggy but you still want the look, try disabling all effects aside from one or multiple 'Selective Colour' effects and this should give you a decent improvement still, and help the lag somewhat!
