Alright guys - we're starting to move into new territory here!! This version is the first to include some positional tweaks. I've explain more in the discord about one of those areas, but there's a number of tweaks here - all purposeful. They will most likely need some refining, but so far for me they've been holding up very well.

Also in this test version I've introduced some shooting errors. Nothing drastic yet, they're quite conservative at the moment, but you should see more errors based on stats.

There's also more refinement of the defensive side of the game - in the interactions and behaviour of the defenders.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

- If you don't see the Bergkamp/Henry splash screen, then the mod isn't working.

- It's currently only out for FMT, but we are waiting for a new release version from Paul when he can that will let me export out to both. I'm hanging out for a FMM version as well, so it stick with me it won't be too far away, and if it's going to be then I'll make the move manually.

- The game must be played on NORMAL SPEED ONLY!!! It won't work properly on slow, and it will actually be faster and missing a lot of values. NORMAL ONLY!!!!

- I highly recommend playing on World Class. Legendary just feels off this year in terms of how the CPU attacks. It's very one dimensional. I've been working on increasing the difficulty of World Class and hopefully you can see that progress in this version.

- It's still a MAJOR work in progress. Some areas touched, many not at all! For example - fouls have not been touched yet - at all. Just an example, there are other areas not touched and some that I've just started working on.

EDIT: I’m off the PC now, but if the game feels a lot faster for some reason, it shouldn’t! I’ll check in the morning to see if some settings have reset themselves, it can happen randomly sometimes.

EDIT 2: And playing again now it feels definitely faster again. What are EA doing?! It's strange, it really feels like the typical EA acceleration 'boosts' have kicked in. Last year they didn't impact the mod because I had them switched off...really strange.

I've done some tests with crazy low values and while the files are having an impact, there is some insane boost coming over the top. Hopefully EA can settle this down ASAP. Just keep in mind guys if you're playing and it's crazy quick, that it's absolutely not supposed to be playing like that - and wasn't until today.

so, should I wait to download version 7 until this issue is solved?

The issue isn't coming from the mod itself, it's just coming from EA and happening on default too. Download it and load it up. If it's playing at a slower, good tempo then it's all good - if it's crazy fast then it's these boosts. Hopefully EA can stabilise it soon as I hadn't had any of these issues at all until yesterday.

Hey Anth! I would like to say that I was able to play v7 at slow speed. Simply incredible! The AI ​​is much more intelligent defensively. Congratulations on the great work you are doing. About the speed... I really liked the v5 at this point. Fast and skilled players had their weight taken into account when playing. In v7 these players seem to slide a lot (especially the PSG team for example, which has very skilled players), I don't know if it has to do with the speed being different from v5 or if it's still a bug related to the game. I would like to make these considerations so that I can help you in future versions. Once again, congratulations on the work, it’s incredible!
